Drew graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and he has recently completed Oral Surgery Specialist training by passing the Tri-Collegiate Membership in Oral Surgery examination. He has now been elected as a member Oral Surgeon at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Through working within multiple Oral and Maxillofacial and Oral surgery units within the region, it has provided him with a thorough insight into undertaking acute and elective oral surgery procedures. He has extensive MDT experience, and he particularly enjoys working closely with orthodontists on simple and complex case management. He currently also works as an Oral Surgeon within the Liverpool University Dental Hospital and through previous NHS associate practice and work within the Emergency Dental Service he also understands the complexities and challenges of primary care dentistry.
Drew is an experienced dental sedation operator (12 years old and above) and he provides sedation services to aligning dental specialities when required. He focuses his clinical practice to all aspects of oral surgery and he can provide such treatments under an IV conscious sedation.
He is an enthusiastic educator and mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate learners in oral surgery and sedation techniques and this has been supplemented with postgraduate qualifications in education and leadership.
