Kate Blundell completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery at Liverpool University in 2005. She gained a Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007.
After this, she was appointed as a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool University. Kate is passionate about Endodontics and gained her MSc in Endodontics (with distinction) from Manchester University in 2011. Kate has also undertaken additional training with the Institute of Medical and Dental Hypnosis and the Institute of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, and finds that hypnosis can be a very effective way of helping anxious patients cope with treatment.
Kate now limits her practice to Endodontics and divides her time between the Sandstone Dental Practice and university teaching. Kate has treated a large number of difficult cases referred from general dental practitioners around Merseyside and beyond.
