Kat graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012 with a degree in Biochemistry and a degree in Dentistry with honours. She began her career in general dental practice on the Wirral and following that she worked as an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Arrowe Park Hospital. In 2014 she completed her MFDS postgraduate diploma in Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.
Kat then spent time in Queensland, Australia, working in both general practice and in secondary care with the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, treating adults and children with complex medical and dental needs.
In 2021, Kat completed her Master’s degree in Advanced Restorative Dentistry (with distinction), enabling her to take on the management of more complex restorative cases. She is actively involved in teaching as an Honorary Lecturer in Dentistry at the University of Manchester and has also been a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Sheffield.
Kat is passionate about delivering ethical, patient-centred, aesthetic dental treatments. She accepts referrals for complex restorative cases, including the management of tooth wear, crown lengthening and aesthetic and functional rehabilitation. She also enjoys collaborating as part of our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for every patient.
