Emad completed his Bachelor Degree in Dentistry and Dental Surgery in 2009. He then moved to Liverpool in 2014, where he completed 3 years full-time clinical specialist training in Endodontics. Emad’s doctorate research project focused on the use of Micro CT technology to assess dimensional change before and after endodontic preparation. Emad was awarded a Doctorate degree in Dental Sciences (Endodontics DDSc) from Liverpool University in 2017. He completed the collegiate speciality examination and successfully attained Membership in Endodontics (MEndo) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2017.
He has been appointed as a lecturer at the University of Liverpool since 2018 and has been heavily involved in undergraduate and postgraduate Endodontic teaching for the last five years. Emad has scientific publications in Endodontics and is a member of both the British Endodontic Society and the European Society of Endodontology.
Emad performs all his dental treatments using our dental operating microscope and now accepts referrals for consultations and treatment of complex root canal treatment, root canal retreatment and surgical endodontics, including root end surgery, hemi-section and root resorption repair.
Given the clinical experience, he has had over the last eight years, caring for patients requiring complex endodontic and subsequent restorative treatment in the Dental Hospital, Emad is happy to restore endodontically treated teeth using modern digital technology if requested by the referring colleague.
