Mutaz completed his bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in 1991. Following junior posts in Dundee, he moved to Belfast, where he was awarded his PhD from Queen’s University of Belfast in 2002. He then joined Liverpool University Dental Hospital where he completed his specialist training in 2007. Mutaz has an extensive experience as a consultant and a trainer in Restorative Dentistry. Mutaz is also a visiting professor who is involved in online teaching.
Mutaz is a sports man, who enjoys playing and watching football and following basketball with his two sons.
